Kat Sodawasser
Voice & Drums
Kat Sodawasser earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Master of Education & Leadership from Midland University. After attaining her Master’s degree, she was the Assistant Director of Vocal Music at Midland, taught private voice, and also directed Women’s Choir, the freshman a cappella group, and “Acoustic”, a touring ensemble that focuses on the creation of their own variety show. Currently, Kat is on a new adventure as a stay-at-home mom with her new son, and she also sings professionally in Omaha’s #1 wedding variety band, Pink Kadillac. Kat’s love for teaching began after high school when she joined The Young Americans, a touring performing arts organization, where she taught and performed in Japan, Germany, Poland, The Netherlands, Canada, Korea, Austria, and all over the United States. Not only does Kat teach voice, but she has been a percussionist for over 20 years and has a passion for teaching drums as well. Kat believes in inspiring young musicians to become well-rounded singers and instrumentalists, and enjoys seeing students grow in confidence and in their love for music!
