Meet the Faculty

Katelyn Hinderer earned a Bachelors’ degree in Music Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with years of show choir direction and choreography in her professional background. She currently teaches vocal music at Gretna High School.
Katelyn directed Sing Omaha’s summer camp in 2019, and after two summers off due to Covid, she is thrilled to relaunch the 3-6th grade show choir camp in 2022!
Mark Harman has been Director of Vocal Music at Fremont High School since 2001. Prior to his tenure at Fremont, he spent two years in the Raymond Central Public Schools teaching K-12 Vocal Music. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 from Hastings College and a Masters of Music degree in 2007 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mark is excited to join us for his third year as the music director for our 7-11th grade camp!


Dr. Matt Hill is the Artistic Director of Sing Omaha and oversees the Summer Show Choir Camps, coordinating music selection, managing daily rehearsals, and otherwise facilitating the experience for students and faculty.
Matt guides music selection, leads sectionals, writes charts for the band (7-11th grade camp), and otherwise organizes the camp experience for students and faculty.
Amy Wesely is the Director of Show Choirs & Assistant Vocal Music Teacher at Millard South High School in Omaha. At MSHS, she directs concert choirs “Bella Voce”, and “Cantori”. Her show choirs, South on Stage and Stage One, regularly perform at the highest level! She is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and recently completed a Master’s degree in Music Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
