Beginners and Experienced Players Welcome!
Who doesn’t want to be a rock star drummer? At Sing Omaha Studios, we strive to make the learning process engaging and fun for our students, and we build fundamental skills that facilitate steady progress toward students’ goals. We follow a curriculum that teaches playing technique through rudiment instruction and practice to build the necessary playing ‘vocabulary’ for success behind the drum set. Each lesson features drum set time, and the studio set up allows for student and teacher to each have a drum set for ‘call and response’ echo training. Spots will fill up quickly, so get signed up for drum lessons today!
Drum lessons are a great way to build coordination and rhythmic precision. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced drummer, we can help you to ‘find your groove’ at the kit and on the practice pad.
Great drummers are solid ‘in the pocket’ (keeping good time/tempo), know how and when to ‘fill’, and play their role in the musical conversation happening with the other musicians.
Fundamental skills are critical for drummers, and our focus is on rudiments which translate directly to drum set playing. Students will spend a portion of their lesson working on a practice pad before applying their pad skills to the drums. This ensures mastery of each concept in one dimension (the practice pad) before applying it to a multi-dimensional pallet of drums and cymbals.
Your 30 or 60-minute drum lesson will include:

Sing Omaha Studios offers the best instruction in the area. I took guitar lessons at two other places before coming here, and now I’m hooked. I get everything I need here, and my lesson is the highlight of my week!

My son just started drum lessons and the experience has been awesome. He’s motivated to practice at home, and can’t wait to go to lessons every week. We’re excited for the opportunity to get him playing with other musicians, but for now, he’s loving getting better on his own.
