Emily Jackson is a Music Education student at UNO where she studies classical, musical theatre, and contemporary vocal music. She sings on the worship team at her church and enjoys all kinds of music making processes. Emily has been cast in three operas at UNO, and is very involved in the program. She has participated in coachings and masterclasses with Hal France and Broadway artist Jimmy Smagula. In November of 2020 she was awarded 2nd place at the West Central Regional NATS competition, and she earned 1st place in the October 2020 Nebraska State NATS. As a voice instructor her mission is to meet students where they are, and to bring joy and confidence to their singing.
