Alex Skaggs is a senior at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) studying K-12 music education with a concentration in voice. Alex studies as a tenor under Dr. Zachary Colby, former member of Cantus. Alex has performed in two Michael Ching operas, and has served as a tenor section leader for the UNO Concert Choir. Alex loves singing in all styles and genres, and he believes that singing is an essential part of community-building and bringing people together. He is excited to be teaching voice and piano at Sing Omaha and to share the wonderful experience of making music.
