Jaymie Argotsinger

3rd–6th Show Choir Camp Director/Choreographer

Jaymie Argotsinger recently graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Music Education. During her time in college, she participated in 3 collegiate choirs and lead sectionals for 3 of her 4 years. Jaymie is trained in classical voice and uses this as her foundation to sing in a variety of styles including, opera, musical theatre, and pop. She has participated in a variety of performance opportunities. She had the honor of being nominated for the 2018 Irene Ryan- Kennedy Center Award for her role in her university’s production of “Footloose the Musical.” In addition to performing, Jaymie also has a deep love for songwriting and spends much of her time composing. She was the first place winner of the “‘Beautiful’ the Carole King Music Songwriting Competition” put on by Omaha Performing Arts in 2017.

Currently, Jaymie teaches Middle School vocal music in the Elkhorn Public Schools. She also directs a high school show choir in the Millard Public Schools. She believes in teaching students to love the process of creating music. She would love to help students build a strong musical foundation and find their own individual voice. She is excited to lead elementary school musicians in week-long camps every summer!
